If you have any reservations about using a company that is states away with out ever meeting them or seeing their work in person do not hesitate with Pat. You will not get better communication on the job even if the company was in your home town. He will send you pictures of his progress and is always there to assist if you need it.
Now that the job is complete I get tons of compliments on it! One of my neighbors is a real estate agent and he brings clients that are interested in log cabins in to show them what they could possibly do with ones he is selling.
I was building a loft in an old log cabin and wanted something to really make it look like it was built that way. I contacted Pat and we designed a ladder and railings to use. He made them both so they were easy to install even for someone with as limited woodworking skills as me. His communication in the build process was outstanding. We actually made several changes based on this high level of communication. All of the changes made the end product even better.
